sorry but that is just a ridiculous reason and rationale to pay a 110% acquisition premium. Unless they can justify the excess premium being paid - on every acquisition metric it looks like a complete unnecessary waste of ALL shareholders money. (They have easily spent USD500mm more than necessary to buy NGMS).
The market had just (on the LAST trading day) smashed Neogames by selling it off by 10% for a poor Q1 - and we come out over the weekend and pay an over 100% premium?? ALL has been a great company for a long time, but this is really really poor decision by management and the board. They really need to be held accountable for this.
And what is more disappointing - is they never address the acquisition premium in the investor preso....... acting like shareholders won't notice or they don't need to explain themselves to us....
