We are an advertiser on HC. Advertising is legal, paying people to post on HC under pseudonyms without disclosing they are being paid to post is illegal. RAC does not engage in illegal activity.
Interestingly we advertise on around a dozen company threads here on HC (it is part of the ad package) and it is only the IMU shareholders who seem to whinge. Advertising on HC is a necessary evil if we want the site to stay in business - on a personal level I prefer to get ads for other companies I can invest in rather than the usual sort of ad HC runs.
