Given the Coalition's national push for nuclear power, you would think you would see a collective push at the state level in the states they control. QLD needs this new mining shot in the arm anyway.
Mining and exporting uranium should be a no-brainer for QLD and WA. Iron ore, coal, and copper are in the toilet a bit. Perhaps U will become the new kid on the commodity block.
The Russian uranium ban will go through soon, so the West needs to step up.
