Decided to have a quick squiz on NVIDIA's website and found this. ie the card models AWS will use in their data centres...
NVIDIA sold $US 24B worth in the last quarter alone! That's a lot of cards and a lot of power consumption!!
Apologies its not strictly PDN related but relates to the big picture energy demand wise. OK, I'll stop now.
