the main gas play in the NT is in the Beetaloo Basin, where STO, ORG and EEG operate. Tamboran is in cahoots with STO in this area.
the AJQ acreage is outside the Beetaloo and is targeting a deeper sequence, which is largely untested and generallly heavily faulted in the eastern edge.
The AJQ acreage, IMHO, is worth a fraction of the permits in the Beetaloo, as reflected in the current AJQ share price.
I think it will struggle to gain much traction give the poor listing of Tamboaran today. Tamboran always looked expensive.
