Do you honestly think that you don't need to pay for good people?
If I was Amazon or Australia Post I'd have my recruiters and deal makers trying to get these guys on my team.
I think the Australia Post guy had a 5.8 million per year contract ... and they lost 20 million.
So do you think by paying these execs peanuts when you've got big dollar business sniffing around is a good business model for GSW?
You know the proverb - pay peanuts get monkeys? If you want key staff to stay you need to pay them.
