I have no idea really. It was obviously an asset that I thought was on Alara's radar too. As some of the posters here have set out, it was not an asset or region on the radar for 4CE.

My only thought is whether a concentration of assets with one largely foreign entity was something that was not being encouraged by PAM.

In the short to mid-term, perhaps it helps both companies with providing a little more familiarity to Australian investors through slightly broader exposure. Certainly what Alara have been doing is not particularly well known, nor widely appreciated.

Anyway, hopefully mining in Oman will prove to be the next big thing, and hopefully does not take too much more time........... Good luck to all.
