Why would they provide them? Maybe to incentivise them to deliver?
They probably got a
1. Base cash payment
2. Further incentivised to deliver by having skin in the game with these options at a higher strike price.
Heres 100 dollars for your services....by the way if you really deliver then here is a bonus.
I doubt there is much chance they are working for the options alone. If they are we are scraping the bottom of the barrel.
