Do directors have more responsibility than a teacher in charge...

Do directors have more responsibility than a teacher in charge of 25-30 students in various settings such as machine workshops, swimming pools, climbing walls, or a nurse who has been working 12 hours and has multiple patients to look after and get medicine dosages right etc etc......? Do directors work harder than teachers, nurses....police...and others who serve the community?

Most directors are over paid for what they do. But, teachers and nurses etc don't create wealth or generate money, people only appreciate them in words, not financially. Too many directors set their salary on the 'chance' they might create wealth....many of them in the small cap world lose peoples money, yet pay themselves as if they are a success. Most punters here don't mind well set KPI's and if a director brings wealth to their share holders, then sure, they should be well rewarded. But their base salary is often way over what it should be in my view. If you are in at the small cap end, then being a director shouldn't make you rich just because you keep the company on life support for x amount of years, it should only make you rich if it the exploration etc comes off!

Not saying you are like that @Coit but unfortunately, if you are one of the good guys.....your outnumbered!
