Pierre, I told ATH about the Fund just when it was founded, late 2020, before any deal with QU. Then I sent to the Fund all the scientific PBT2 papers published in 2018-2020. I also sent to the fund later the 4 PBT2 papers on Jan 11 this year. 1st of Feb this year the Fund selected prof. David Paterson to its scientific board. He is from Queensland microbiological unit and is an author of 3 PBT2 papers. He is not an inventor but he is the boss of the 4 inventors, who will get PBT2 milestones and royalties.
So I am convinced that ATH knows what the Fund can do and the Fund knows what PBT2 can do with many types of resistant bacteria. I would think that the Fund wants to be a part of the PBT2 commercialization, in fact, it almost must help PBT2 to the market to do what it has promised to do to the world, find new drugs to fight antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
The fact that ATH told soon 2 y ago that the money for PBT2 comes from outside was not a surprise to me because I thought immediately that the needed money will be coming from the Fund. But it had only 1B and to me, a part of it was not at all enough. That is why gave up on my thoughts on the Fund possibility and started to figure out the Big Pharma possibility because this is the normal route in the pharma business.
The nature of the Fund is not very clear to me, what is that it can do??? With Adaptive Phage and Venatorx it increased the market capital and got part of these companies. This will not work with ATH (big dilution is out of the question, IMO) but the principle of the fund is that it will help across all stages of clinical development. So there must be some other method with PBT2.
I am pretty sure that the finance experts will find a way how ATH and the Fund will work together to get PBT2 to the market. ATH does not tell anything and neither does the Fund, usually, an active message sender, after it told about Adaptive Phage and Venatorx on the 4th of April, 2022, soon 6 months of silence. But no agreement has been signed and so all options are open. I am expecting the transformative year 2022, as are Stamler and Kempler, too, perhaps.
