@GreatWA certainly agree with you that they smell success and are looking to the upside from depressed prices. That's why I am in again. Perhaps the whiff of opportunism just disclosed is a small cost to bear but to me it makes me reflect upon the quality of decision-making going forward and whose interests are put first. Certainly think the options are very generous at .035 call in two years. Would hope the company is doing much better than that after current drilling campaign let alone in 2023.

The concept of fiduciary duty does enshrine values of loyalty and trust, and reasonable care to protect assets; and whose interests are put first. All of the fiduciary's actions should be performed for the advantage of the shareholders. So if this is an incentive to perform better, to advantage shareholders then ok, but I do raise an eyebrow in the circumstances. Certainly a whiff of opportunism released late. On the other hand companies like NTM and HMX have boosted sentiment with on market purchase recently. An approach which gives me more confidence they will reach their goals.

All that said, I still rate BAR as a buy, knowing what they hold. I would like to think management possess the due diligence, another aspect of fiduciary duty to make it happen. I do think hard work and strategic thinking need to be rewarded after the job is done.
