Slightly disappointing that they're issuing $100k worth of shares in lieu of just paying someone. If this pans out then that's more dilution of earnings in the outer years...

Even at the issue price of 2cents...they could've just given 5m shares (100k) rather than structuring it as a high option amount, just means further dilution. And putting the options out till 2023...they won't see this cash for quite a number of years when they get exercised.

If you owe someone 97k - then try to pay cash, if you can't, then give them the equivalent in shares, aligns their interest and the co's. Giving 7.5m in options (2% of the co) gives incredible upside but little benefit to existing holders.
