Remember too, that you have to hold the shares in your account before or on the recorded date to be entitled to the options. So T+2, or the day you buy(T) and 2 days later the stock will be in your account.
You wouldnt be able to buy Thursday or Friday and be eligible, as the stock wont transfer into your account for another 2 days.
