Many companies listed on the ASX provide shares to their employees. In this instance, management has decided to grant shares to HLO outlet members as a token of appreciation for their loyalty and as an incentive. With 2,065 HLO outlets and members involved, this translates to 1,200 shares each—sufficient to fund the Christmas party. While these are not newly issued shares, they demonstrate management's satisfaction with the members and outlets. Additionally, more outlets and employees will be included in future distributions.
