Yes. Just a bad day due to the gold price falling around 3% and the US tech sector up around 5%. You can always guarantee when US tech does well, a lot of the gold profits then rotate into that run.
Anyway, looking today, gold is rebounding and already trending back up. Just a short term blip due to Trumps lies again. A guy who caused all the issues in the first place by initially placing tariffs then saw all the negative publicity and backtracked big time. Begging China to help him cut them back and reset. Now he’s somehow trying to cheer that he is doing an excellent job, telling all his followers to buy tech and crypto and get mega rich lol. None of the MAGA crowd could possibly think all this chaos was due to him in the first place… hmmm
The US economy is still in the horrible position it has been in. Back to business as usual. Remember when the China tariffs were meant to create no income taxes, now he’s reversed it all. I bet nobody will hold these words to account either. Wait until next quarter comes around to confirm a second quarter of negative growth, then a recession is absolutely confirmed. It’s not going to be pretty. I am still anticipating $5000usd gold later this year.
