Good summary of the current situation for KGL and its Shareholders. However, I hope the Australian shareholders support this raise and prevent KMP (Salim Group) increasing its position. Under a worst case scenario, $3M is raised (minimum raise) and KMP's position increases from 35.14% to 37.7%.
The appointment of a financial advisor cannot be too far away. Assuming an advisor is appointed in good time, I don't think they'll have much trouble finding a JV partner or have trouble selling equity to fund development. Given the weakness in the AUD, overseas investors should find this project highly attractive, IMOP.
