Yes, they could but they won't. They're about to invest tens of millions into building a plant using LIT technology- it's in their financial interest to keep the shares.
When they build the plant and make it uber-efficient like only Germans can, other nations around the globe will want a piece of the LIT technology as well.
It's actually a really good day for LIT . This German investment is a gift from God. The only thing better than this would be if Tesla or Musk bought the technology.
We don't want Chinese companies buying into LIT tech because they would ultimately just steal it.
