I am not sure where this rush and concern with regards to a funding comes from. As I discussed here ,
Post # 77258857 Mesoblast has multiple possible pathways to raise any funds that they need.
In Summary, these include
- Accessing the GG funds at the agreed upon stock price
- Raise funds from GG at a renegotiated stock price
- Establishing an At The Money (ATM) agreement to sell stock direct to the public
- Bank Borrowings either direct or through Line of Credit
- Inventory securitization of the current Ryoncil product already built
Not covered there are options to monetize the patent portfolio, now that it is more valuable.
It is up to management and their advisers to choose the proper pathway, but each option has their pros and cons, with some being dilutive and others just changes to the capital structure or working capital.
I simply don't see the need to panic or rush. I do need them to be thoughtful.
