If you think about cars in general, in the 1900's you had to carry your fuel with you plan your trip and buy the fuel at the Grocery/General Store.
Late in the 1900's we have Fuel Stations, that use to serve Petrol and high flow diesel.
Then we had diesel cars and Gas cars and the fuel stations adopted with Gas pumps and low flow diesel
2000's we have EV and H2.
- EV currently needs charging stations and is limited in km and long charge times
- H2 currently needs Fueling points and storage facilities

We also need to take into account there is no use generating H2 to ship it to fueling stations with diesel powered trucks. Negates the environmental impacts

It could be that we start filling with Gas and have a way to split the Gas into Hydrogen and collect the Carbon in a canister. This provides a path for the Oil companies to keep producing Gas.

We may find out that we will be able to generate hydrogen in an effective way from water and cars will be filled with Pure Water (distilled) maybe with a catalyst to help it

Could it be we make our own Electricity/Hydrogen, using water,gas at home or work and fill up our Cars and Trucks. Not good on multiple fronts for Oil manufacturers/distributors and Electricity generators/distributors. Gas would keep going till we start using water.

OH well. We in a time of change at the moment with the economics and marketing of EV and H2 having there share of the news.

There is some time to transistion to Hydrogen, IMO Pure are working on the facet they can control. Distribution/Manufacture of H2 Vehicles and ways of generating H2.

I am not educated in these subjects so these are just my observations, though to fly someone would have been observing birds.
