Probably don't need the squabbling right now but my thoughts; something significant happened in September.
We were barreling along, buyers were jumping over each, not tiny retail buyers, decent sized ones, and something happened. Possibly the grade dropped to below the cut off point, when judged against the $4 price all of the sums were working off.
That $4 dropped off with news of a current excess (price now increasing, supply stabilising)
Possibly our JV partners told us that what's available in the pipeline isn't enough for the business case after all, hence the massive increase in-field drilling, the deep drilling, the search for along-strike proof.
Instos caught wind of this and jumped.
I predict that given good numbers in Dec, we'll see the ones sitting on the fence watching, back in.
