    So the new shares have listed at 8.8 cents and the capital return was 42 cents. Can I use these figures to come up with the split ratio? That is can I apply it to my original purchase cost to work out the cost base for tax purposes. I assume the capital component will be treated as a capital gain or loss and the dividend component treated as a normal unfranked dividend.
