What are the alternatives for WPL ? apart from being up the creek without a paddle.
CNE and / or FAR are now going to preempt so WPL's deal with COP is dead in the water IMO
Alternatives,
1/ WPL offer a sweetener to FAR to butt out and keep their offer in play. Too late for that IMO FAR will have had to agree a pact with others that has killed that option. Back us if you want in and WPL out !
2/ CNE & FAR preempt and on sell to WPL is still a possibility. WPL would not feel comfortable IMO as they would be reliant on others and perhaps also in competition with others so no guarantee of success.
3/ WPL or someone else take out FAR either before or after they preempt. Still no guarantee of success as they still may be in competition with others.

IMO this is not an individual shorter/ capper taking a few risks for a small gain, this is an organisation investing some small change for a greater reward down stream to keep their chances alive.

Taking FAR out is now elevated to the top of the list of priorities. IMO.
FAR are now in the box seat, checkmate, they are the key to the other wannabes !
