Hi lwilde, Yes the company name and ticker will change..BDR is basically merging with a shell company on the Canadian or Toronto Stock exchange the TSX.. As a result you will get a choice down the track... Keep your new shares listed on the Asx or take your shares as listed on the Tsx..you may even get an option to split your shares and hold on both exchanges...paperwork will arrive regarding this...I am going to take the Tsx listed option as I believe in time the new entity will leave the asx all together...Now the Tsx option for a lot of holders is more expensive in a few ways...brokers charge more to sell or buy shares on the Tsx and they have higher minimum trades say $10k in a lot of cases...hope this helps...cheers...
