Who knows.... EGR's proposed mechanical shaping facility in Tanz may end up being the local toll treatment plant. It would save local graphite producers in shipping costs due to the micronisation reducing product volumes. I would have thought the Tanz Govt would like a share in the revenue too rather than seeing raw concentrate leaving their shores and high-margin revenue being realised elsewhere like Korea.
We could take it a step further, bondaus, and speculate that POSCO will eventually want to abandon the use of HF acid because it so toxic and challenging to dispose of, and adopt EGR's HF-free purification system in Korea. POSCO could well be waiting for EGR to get the green light with SML, etc.
