CAM were unlucky with the preference shares as there was zero people in the world predicting zero interest rates and CAM were hamstrung with paying out large divs to CAMPA and couldn't give the CAM div a boost it would have otherwise have got.

I think forward selling shares at a premium to current price is very fair and 6.5% is reasonable considering we don't have to pay cash at maturity to repay the loan. If I were 20 years older than I am, I would take up the offer, but as retirement is a couple of decades away, I prefer to buy CAM.

Looks to me like a play to get more management fees for managing more money, they have already dropped performance targets because they have performed so poorly, there was no other way for them to get paid more IMO.
They seem to be acting more like leeches than ever before, I don't mind them being paid more if they PERFORM, make me money and I'm happy for you to get a cut but lose me money and go for a bigger cut anyway?
Poor form anyway you look at it IMO.
