its been almost 2 years mate.... the process is long and tedious with ASX defending strongly using every tactic they can muster. the court cases could take another year easily enough and then we'll be starting a class action of shareholders v. ASX/ASIC. This still has a long road to run.
the spin off is a circuit breaker and allowing access to some liquidity or to hold more ISX shares.
Very likely, imo, ISXFEU will be the main game for the next couple of years and may be the better game in the long run. I'm hoping for the LSE so that I can at least understand the language ;-)
