Why the desperate need to list on the nasdaq? It's full of sharks and shorters(IMHO) and you can't guarantee that a stock will be valued more on the nasdaq.
Look at OPT. After trading between $2 and $3 for a while it listed on the nasdaq at the equivalent of AUS $2,40. It has never traded over the nasdaq listed price and is now captured by the nasdaq as the ASX is in thrall to the nasdaq. It trades in the AUS$1.20's now. Yippee.
