Unfortunately there are a lot of ignorant shareholders who just vote 'yes' assuming, rightfully, that Company Directors will only be doing what's right for shareholders (as is their mandate). Reality is different though and ASIC is next to useless even in such an appalling and outrageous instance like this with many of us lodging formal complaints.
There was even one ignorant who posted on here how he voted 'yes' for all resolutions. It didn't seem like he even knew why he did. Mal loves these shareholders and it could be those that get him over the line.
