But, the way they structured their offer has had serious consequences, it has left STX exposed for two months and there is still another month to go. A simple takeover would probably have been done by now, instead STX has turned what should have been an iconic quarter into a SH nightmare. They are reaping what they sowed by passing responsibility for Gurvantes to Colby instead of taking that on themselves ala WGO. STX have an arrogance problem, they thought they had a clever plan to acquire TPD but they failed to understand that somebody else had a plan for their plan. Whoever it is, their plan is working better.
