STX don’t have country experience, care nor time to deal with a project in Mongolia. Hence why Colby was told “you guys can jump on our train but it’s on condition that you keep Gurvantees”. While you guys think it’s worth something to TPD (we now know just how much!), it is not within STXs strategic plan, which is Perth Basin focused.
