Yes I was called as well and yes, I’ve also been wondering what happens if there’s a shortfall. I said I doubted I’d subscribe unless something turned around before 14 March.
I was asked if I had any general feedback and I conveyed (politely) that despite the apology we received, it didn’t change the fact that, having continued accruing shares at higher prices based on pretty clear understanding that a CR wouldn’t happen till second half of year and that useful orders were imminent (the messaging for the latter now has subtly changed), I am now far more out of pocket than I would have been with accurate information and savvy operations by management.
I now need to have my confidence restored in this company. I’ve never had a problem with the commodity, it’s the product that is still amateurish, along with a lack of awareness of this by management - but then I can’t see any among the management team that would have the awareness to realise this.
I’ve bought a few more shares at 10% below the SPP price, and I’ll risk regretting not buying into the SPP later, but right now I think a “bird in the hand” approach is wiser.
