Sovereign risk strikes me as not insignificant here. Is the below an ATO type situation where companies can challenge tax rulings and expect to receive a legitimate hearing, or are the Mongolian courts just going to side with the local tax authority in any given case involving foreigners? If the latter then the government effectively has a lien on the project which WML is not even the owner of, and will be beholden to Kincora to deal with.
