Not much new. For those who didn't go, it was purely a Q&A. No slides, just talking heads.
When asked about projected sales figures, the reply was the usual "well we can't make predictions" sort of thing with the comment something like :"we're not expecting, like, ten thousand." My inference is that this means "we're expecting in the hundred thousands to millions." Bear in mind though that's very much my take.
Lipscombe also, as an aside, threw out a figure of 6 weeks to cover the review period. I guess as well as the 30 day comment period the company will want a few weeks to like their ducks up (maybe we'll get another 2 week TH, snark snark).
Other things I caught:
- they're not expecting the price to materially change after the 30 day review period.
- by American standards "the test is cheap" with the implication that take-up should be good.
- the sense that Sonic is (more or less) running the show with the rollout. (not that I have a problem with that.)
My guess is that end Q2 next year is when we'll start to get a feel for how things are tracking. I'm not expecting much revenue before then, but if I'm proved wrong, that's a very good sign.
