I have been off the air for a bit so a few thoughts I have re R&D, business operations and whatever else comes to mind.
Patyccc and Aruc6393 are correct re the cash into PIQ.
The 2019 Annual Report booked a receivable of $1,139,403 that PIQ was expecting. They got $1,134,662 which was $4,741 less.
If you divide $1,134,662 by 43.5% (which is the R&D cash rebate rate) you get $2,608,418 as the qualifying R&D expenditure undertaken by PIQ. The net cost to PIQ for the remainder of the qualifying R&D was $1,473,756.
The PIQ loss in the Annual Report for YEJ 2019 of $2,080,725, $1,473,756 is associated with R&D leaving $606,969 to be further analysed. $249,499 was a paper loss generated on the forced sale of shares in CPR Pharma Services that PIQ funded with shares it issued to CPR @ $0.305 approx per share. This leaves $357,470. Travel and Marketing ($227,292) and Intellectual Property maintenance expenses ($87,900) would both hopefully also represent future revenue streams and at $315,192 leaves a remainder of $42,278.
Make of that what you will but to me it looks pretty close to breakeven on Business Operations.
A very big thank you to the Australian Tax Payer, which we all are, for the R&D cash, and I hope that we can repay them with the product being made available to them soon. I am fortunately not a Type 2 Diabetic but if I was I would be doing the trip to Spain to get tested every couple of years until Promarker D testing is available here.
