The announcement is correct, the cheque from the Dept of Industry, Innovation and Science relates to the $1.94m of eligible R&D expenditure that Proteomics spent in the year ended 30 June 2018. The accounts show an accrual at 30 June 2018 of $844,123 with an actual receipt now of $834,403. Not sure why there is a difference of $9,720, most likely there were some expenses that were excluded from the R&D Expenditure calculation.
Just like the previous announcement, have just converted another asset to cash, and will be looking forward to seeing the royalty receipts start to come soon. I am hoping that the royalties in Mexico and the US are denominated in $US as the current $AUD weakness will only help.
