well it’s good in that it gives a path to full product release in the US. They’re very pointed in saying that the agreement is confidential, so we have no idea whether the deal is any good, eg what are the royalty rates.

The immediate concern for me is where the obligations are and what will they cost. Is Sonic picking up the tab for all the development work? What will PIQ’s outgoings be to meet their end of the deal? One thing that’s immediately apparent is that there’s no upfront payment. I know that every half-paranoid HC poster raises the spectre of capital raisings, but….
