Yeah unfortunately thinking about it more last night I'm more pessimistic now. I wasn't sure how fair my first comment was about the lack of financials/economics so I did a Google search for the most recent Scoping Studies released in 2021 to see if anyone else had pulled the "ASX/ASIC guidelines" excuse. Here's what I found from a search:

    • Trigg Mining (TMG) - Potash - SS released October 2021
    • De Grey Mining (DEG) - Gold - SS released October 2021
    • Alta Zinc (AZI) - Zinc - SS released November 2021
    • Caravel Minerals (CVV) - Copper - SS released November 2021
    • Kogi Iron (KFE) - Iron Ore - SS released December 2021
    • Celsius Resources (CLA) - Copper/Gold - SS released December 2021

All of these were Scoping Studies, and all had necessary disclaimers i.e. "...based on low accuracy level technical and economic assessments..." but all of them included financial projections i.e. Capex, NPV, EBITDA, IRR %'s and so on. Now to be balanced, the one difference I see with PRL is that the above are all mining companies and PRL is effectively an energy play - so there is a difference here (i.e. there's no 'mineral resource' to estimate etc). But even so, the fact there's no numbers after almost 12 months of work is unusual. The cynic in me suggests that the economics of the Scoping Study don't line up as hoped. As I wrote yesterday, I thought the fact they're now moving to PFS phase was positive - but you do have to ask yourself, which junior ASX management team would release a Scoping Study and say "the project doesn't make sense, so we're binning it". It would effectively render PRL back to the low cents again, so the management team are clearly highly motivated/incentivized to push ahead with the PFS at all costs. Just my musings - I guess we will find out if/when a more formal agreement with Total Eren is announced. That might be the signal for me to get back in, so fingers crossed. Cheers
