The repeated exhortations via "lodge your against vote here" buttons in official correspondence are disgraceful. What a deceitful and underhanded way to harvest votes from those who are distracted, or don't take action because they think that link only facilitates an 'against' vote and never get around to voting at all. Even when you get to the voting page there is the usual strongly worded recommendation from the board that you vote against the proposal.
Irrespective of the merit or otherwise of the proposed action, this process has made abundantly clear whose best interest the current board is acting in.
