Good to hear the reasoning.
TNE has previously had some disagreements with the formulaic approach of lawyers etc that populate the advisor tribe - Proxy Advisors, Remuneration Advisors, Board Independence Advisors, ...
In every instance TNE has shown how formulaic approaches can lead to unproductive and inequitable outcomes.
Make no mistake about my views - in most ASX-listed corporate entities, the CEOs and C-suite are well-overpaid and receive ridiculous extra "incentives" to be diligent, professional and perform their job - mostly undeserved.
But here I think TNE has it right - exceptional circumstances, and good performance when strategic direction has changed from what was originally envisaged.
I will vote per Board recommendation.
