PDI won’t go for under 50c. Market dynamics won’t allow that imo. The only chance they have of a lower takeover is if management continue helping them, like announcing bs news about Guinea to trick retail into selling. Which nobody else operating there did. Not even the big fish. If management delay the PFS or announce more bs fear news they might have a chance. However the gold market isn’t going to collapse, especially with rate cuts soon, and most weak retail are now off the registry so PRU are going to have to buy into a rising price if they want 51% before the PFS drops imo.
At the end of the day, even PRU said they aren’t wanting to takeover PDI and imo it’s just a clever investing stake at the lows.
