I see it the other way.
All of the above, added to the fact that PRU used a profit share arrangement to acquire their 19.9% stake in PDI for around $0.21 per share, convinces me that PRU will launch a formal takeover bid sooner rather than later.
If the SP stays around the current figure over the next few months, unfortunately for us I expect the offer will be closer to $0.35 not $0.50.
