Ann: PTN acquires substantial interest in Emmerson, page-8

Always anticipated consolidation as their initial substantial holdings all appeared to have strategic value, but I think the past few years have been excruciatingly difficult to navigate.
GCY/FFY merger (SPR), divesting from SPR when they did, the KIN/GMD deal, KIN-PNX merger, the Matsa T/O offer now this off market purchase from Evolution (when the value of this block trade is tiny compared to EVN MC), BSX strategic change to Gold/Copper targets in Philippines from PCAM/Ni Battery minerals.
PTN sure looks like where any master strategy will culminate, but then again, that's just a theory & haven't really looked too closely at any of these for some time.
