The trial being expanded rather than no longer of any value of investigation is not only positive but encouraging to say the least.
The emphasis on the objectives to this trial are exploratory yet are narrowed to solid tumours on multiple cancers( hence the basket trial). Continuing safety data is encouraging here, and some efficacy glimpses are on the horizon ( it appears this far with the current patient cohort). Apart from the factor of chance alone; as more patient data is accumulated and (hopefully) adds to the efficacy thus far, a phase two proposal with clearer objective parameters can be applied for imo.
I am sure that the patients themselves care less about the fluctuations of our SP and more on their own quality of life itself.
Well done , again, Ptx; and best wishes to all the participants of this and other studies that aim to not only prolong life but to improving the quality of the longevity itself.
