So having a bit more of a look.

First lets look at what Folotyn does (approved for PTCL), as mentioned by SYC. It costs US$450k per patient per year.

It is effective in only 27% of patients, and for those it gives 3 to 4 months benefit on average.

If we look at ptx100 (regarding CTCL & PCTL), we have 7 patients in total which have been dosed and have not dropped out of the trials for other reasons. 3 from the basket study and four in the extension study.

Of those 7: five have responded, one hasn't, but is still undergoing treatment (so they may respond still) and one we don't really know about (from the basket study).

So that's 5 responders in 7 (so far) compared to 27%

Of those responders, the two in the basket study went 12 months and over 32 months. The three extension study responders are ongoing, but are likely to be going well for many months.

But if we compare with Folotyn, the two responders that we have a time frame for (12 and 32+ months) are far better than 3 to 4 months Folotyn gives.

But ptx100 has also had a near complete response. How fantastic is that! These people are very sick and sadly dying. They don't just suddenly improve.

The safety profile is good, so it would be really interesting to see how ptx100 could help patients earlier in their treatment cycle, before their bodies and immune systems are completely shot!

ps. No idea why FreedomInvestor keeps kicking ptx. Maybe they want in cheap, are shorting the stock, are invested elsewhere and throwing mud. Who knows? But they say that you know when you are becoming successful when the knockers come!
