BigDaniel/others: THANKS a lot for your very kind thoughts! My Scottish friend was (like myself) quite old but in my view still far too young to die... I visited him in the best hospital here in the place of Asia where I live - before he moved over to London (to the best specialised hospital there) for even more risky treatment - i.e. he did really try everything possible to stay alive. But already here, he told me how 'severely negatively impacting' this AML is... And as a sports friend of his, I knew that he was not a kind of "weak personality" type at all !!

Regarding "problem for our children or grandchildren". I tend to believe that all sort of cancers will be completely defeated within the next 10 years. On the other hand - I also believe that Alzheimer's disease will take much, much longer to find a solution (SORRY for this Off topic about AD and also sorry for sharing perhaps too much about those happenings with my Scottish friend!)

ON TOPIC
In the case of PTX: I would like to see for PTX 200 a very CLEAR FOCUS and attention now onto AML - which among different cancer types is one of the deadliest and with VERY POOR survival rates. PTX should forget about Breast and Ovarian cancer for PTX 200 and persue only AML with speed and dedication. SPEED will be of the essence - JIMHO, of course.

I sincerely wish that NONE of the posters here on the PTX HC board will ever have to FACE this very deadly AML disease !!!
