The race for next gen remote controlled CAR-T therapies is most certainly underway. Stanford University have designed a platform now called SNIP (not a very good name if you ask me).

First impression is that this is great validation of the work PTX is already doing in this space, working in collaboration with University of Pennsylvania and Oxford University on their OmniCAR platform - see link here to video located at bottom of page https://ptxtherapeutics.com/technology/

See the link to the article dated 26 May 2022 https://www.geneonline.com/stanford-touts-remote-controllable-car-t-cell-therapy/

More detailed research on its efficacy is published here https://www.cell.com/cell/fulltext/S0092-8674(22)00391-9

One would expect (hope) that Steven Yatomi-Clarke is across this. @hottod @supertramp @dalts (& anyone else who is interested in looking deeper at this research), would be great if we get across the detail re how competitive this will be in comparison with OmniCAR and share among the forum.

    Kind regards
