It will be interesting to see the ‘concurrent’ data on the 1b trial.
Off memory, and hopefully applicable, the stability of the patients’ effects are ( will be by the date presented) are a marker of validity in reference to longevity.
The ability to demonstrate, imo, a study which can hold or improve a drug’s administered effect, especially to the target cohorts ( a seriously I’ll group indeed) would be seen as advancing hope for many sufferers. And.., if the numbers do add up in favour of PTX, then the potential for a phase 2 registered study cannot escape the eyes of those who can grant one.
