The current SOC for PTCL offers, at best, a paltry 3 to 5 mths extension of life and for only 27% of sufferers. It costs a fortune and with some serious side effects that require hospitalisation. So, yes, wouldn't it be great for more patients to be deriving the sort of longevity that one patient has on PTX-100... over 32 months before her "aggressive" PTCL took complete hold?
The following St0ckHead article gives a great coverage of PTX of our pipeline and there a couple of interesting lines that should pique some interest...
It states above that"Prescient is also planning another manufacturing campaign for PTX-100 to ensure that there is enough of the drug for future trials." This is suggestive that manufacturing of more PTX-100 drug is not just being planned for our potential Phase 2 trial in TCL but at least another trial... does it not?
