Very similar numbers to the GNX project up in Nth Qld. I think they were looking at approx. $330m (not locked in yet) capital for just the pumped hydro part. It was also 250mwh size and a 6 -8 hour range vs HGO 220 - 250mwh for 4-6 hours (but can do more). That project will have 320MW of solar vs 40MW at HGO.
Would expect HGO is chasing the Fed Gov't for some funding on this project.
Overall, a very welcome update.
Now can we get one on the Copper Mine !
