This is good news (albeit expected). I am happy MPR is at the early stage of their BOO journey. As I suspect each site will be able to be built cheaper and cheaper. But these first two will be exciting to watch develop.
I am not sure how much finances they can give away. But, in short, these mini-BOOs are like a savings and investment plan. They are funded from cash and/or finance tied to the power purchase agreement. I invested as I love the model. Little BOOs everywhere. And, I hope they continue to investigate alternative battery technology. And I hope they try to get into the outback, mining space.
Now the caveat is these things need to be built on budget. It will be exciting to see how they go with that. They can screw up and go broke (yuk!) or they can generate cash flow for decades (The Plan)
